Hong Kong humidity is not a minor inconvenience. From April through October, you are stepping into 85% humidity before 9am, commuting in it, sitting in back-to-back meetings in it, and then going straight to dinner in whatever state your shirt survived the day in.

In Hong Kong's commute conditions — walking between MTR stations, waiting for a taxi in July — this is the difference between arriving presentable and arriving damp.
Wrinkle resistance
Humidity accelerates wrinkling. A shirt that looks pressed at 9am should still look pressed at 6pm. This comes down to fabric construction and finish rather than fabric type alone — look for fabrics tested to ISO 7768 standards for wrinkle resistance, or at minimum, fabrics that recover their shape after being compressed or folded.
Stretch
